Alessandra is Global Privacy Manager at Stanley Black & Decker Inc. – among the 500 largest US corporate companies included in the “Fortune 500” list, which produces work tools, hardware and small parts as well as products for the home, medical and security systems.
Alessandra is part of the Global Privacy Office and reports directly to the Global Privacy Director, located in New Britain (CT, U.S.).
In 2019 and 2020 she was also designated by IAPP – International Association Privacy Professional – as Young Privacy Professional Leader for Milan.
Before joining Stanley Black & Decker, first as Data Privacy Specialist Europe and then as Global Privacy Manager, Alessandra was Legal Compliance Officer for Labor Project, an Italian business consulting firm specializing in data privacy: in this role Alessandra has supported several companies active in various sectors – in particular luxury and fashion, IT and software development companies, furniture and design leaders, pharmaceutical and manufacturing companies – to achieve privacy compliance through the development, implementation and management of data programs protection compliance.
Between 2010 and 2014 Alessandra collaborated with some law firms in Milan and Como as a legal trainee and then as a collaborator, providing judicial and extrajudicial consultancy, with a focus on civil and commercial law. During this period she also carried out an internship at the Criminal Court of Milan (Section V). In 2015 she was admitted to practice as a lawyer by the Milan Court of Appeal.
In 2010 Alessandra graduated in Law from the Catholic University of Milan and in 2012 she obtained the specialization diploma for the legal professions, issued by the same University.
She is CIPP / E – Certified Information Privacy Professional Europe – certification issued by IAPP.
