Born in Turin, Italy in 1996, Federica Busani begins her career path in 2017, moving to Amsterdam to join the marketing team of a young ed-tech start-up. After her Bachelor's degree, she continues her studies between Denmark and Monterrey, Mexico.

After obtaining a Master's degree in International Business from the Aarhus School of Business in 2020, Federica begins an exciting journey in the fields of technological innovation and entrepreneurship.

After spending nearly two years in the Strategy&Innovation team of Carlo Ratti Associati, an international design and architecture firm, Federica joins the Italian team of Hive, a Berlin-based technology scale-up revolutionizing logistics for D2C brands.

These experiences allowed Federica to gain the tools and inspiration to begin her own entrepreneurial journey as the co-founder of Cap_able: a fashion-tech startup that develops products that innovate both technologically and ethically. Cap_able's first project is the Manifesto Collection: the first collection of knitted garments that protect the wearer’s biometric data by screening facial recognition, without the need to cover the face.
