Ulrika is a globally recognized expert in privacy, data, AI governance, digital ethics, and emerging technologies, with over 25 years of strategic and operational leadership. She has served as EMEA and global Chief Privacy Officer for major multinationals, where she has driven and implemented transformational change in corporate environments. She is currently Chief Privacy & Data Ethics Officer at Smarter Contracts and also provides strategic advice to companies in her capacity as a Non-Executive Director.
Actively engaged with global regulators, Ulrika is an advisor to the European Data Protection Board and serves on the IAPP’s AI Governance Board. A dual-qualified Swedish and U.S. attorney and a member of the New York Bar, she received the inaugural IAPP Hughes Leaders Award in 2022.
She is a board member and Certification Director at ISACA Belgium, an avid mentor, and a strong advocate for women in privacy and tech.
