With a degree in Computer Science, he has been working since 2003 as a consultant on information security, personal data protection, and business continuity, focusing on risk analysis, governance, and compliance with international standards, to which he contributes directly. He is CISA, CISM, PRINCE2, ITIL, and ISFS certified, and is an ISO 9001, ISO 22301, ISO/IEC 27701, and ISO/IEC 27001 auditor, for which he is also a lead implementer. He also has experience as an external DPO qualified according to UNI 11697.

Co-author of the CLUSIT notebook on professional certifications and the PCI-DSS standard, he is an active PCI assessor on various schemes and regularly participates in security events and publications. He has been editor of the UNI 11621-4, 11679, PdR 43:2018, EN 17799, 17740, and ISO/IEC 27000 standards and participated in the drafting of PdR 174:2025.

He has chaired the Italian mirror committee of ISO/IEC JTC 1 SC 27 in UNINFO since 2008 and has been a member of the board of the Italian association for IT security CLUSIT since 2012. He actively participates in the activities of SBS and the European Digital SME Alliance for development in the SME sector.
