DPO in W.L. GORE & ASSOCIATI SRL since June 2018, a company based in Verona belonging to the US Gore Group.

Ernestina has a degree in Political Science, international legal address, graduated from the University of Milan in 1993.

Associated with IAPP since 2010, she holds international certifications: Certified Information Privacy Professional Europe (CIPP / E), and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM). In addition, Ernestina has been a partner of ASSO DPO since 2014.

Before starting to work for Gore, Ernestina gained many years of experience in the legal offices of various multinationals in the IT sector (Hewlett Packard, Compaq, Digital Equipment).

Since 2009 she began her privacy experience within the Hewlett-Packard legal department, providing international consultancy in the role of Privacy Consultant aimed at ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. 

Privacy law expert with in-depth knowledge of GDPR requirements and of the international data transfer mechanisms (SCC, BCR, Privacy Shield), to complete the data protection activities her experience is also oriented to information security, risk analysis and corporate compliance.
